Getting the basics right and being in balance and harmony as a rider mean a happy, sound and supple horse that enjoys being a willing partner.
Classical schooling allows horses at the Spanish riding school of Vienna to be supple and active and a joy to watch well into their twenties.
With horses living longer, just like their human counterparts, it is imperative we allow them to use themselves correctly without force or gadgets and nurture their progress both physically and mentally without undue stress on bodies or minds.
